The art of endless structures, where layers build connections.
Lauris Mīlbrets is a contemporary visual artist who works in layered, segmented abstraction. By constructing surfaces through individually treated fields of color, texture, and pattern, he creates compositions that balance structured order with intuitive visual tension. In 2025, he was awarded the Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Foundation Grant (New York), which recognized his established contribution to contemporary painting and supported his ongoing artistic development. His works are held in public and private collections internationally.
