Figure in an Abstract Interior | Surreal Oil Painting | “Authority” | Archive

This original artwork, created using oil on canvas, presents a compelling fusion of contemporary abstraction and surrealist narrative. The composition is defined by structural segmentation, featuring stark geometric color fields of deep black and vivid blue that contrast sharply with the warm, grounded planar tones below. At the center sits a figure in a dark uniform and cap, posed within a sleek, modern swivel chair alongside a minimalist standing lamp that introduces a cinematic play of light and shadow. Hovering above is an abstract, organic form that defies conventional spatial logic, imbuing the scene with a psychological depth and enigmatic atmosphere characteristic of the artist's distinctive visual language.
